VB Airsuspensions - The additional air suspension
offers the possibility of manually adjusting the suspension to a limited extent. In vehicles with leaf springs, an air bellows is mounted between the frame and the rear axle to support the existing leaf springs. The dual-circuit system allows the suspension on the left and right to be adjusted independently of each other. This means that the vehicle can also be positioned horizontally - to a limited extent - when the load is uneven.

Differences between the variants:
Basic Kit:
The VB-SemiAir basic system allows the spring force to be adjusted within certain limits. In vehicles with leaf spring suspension, air bellows are mounted between the frame and the rear axle. The air bellows support the existing leaf spring. The VB-SemiAir basic system is therefore the right choice for vehicles that are usually heavy and only occasionally loaded (the pressure can remain almost the same). The VB-SemiAir basic system must be pressurized externally, for example with a tire inflator.
Basic Kit Plus:
Like the basic kit, but with pressure gauge and universal mounting, e.g. driver's seat console or side wall etc.
Comfort Kit:
The VB-SemiAir comfort system offers a limited option for adjusting the spring force (manually). In vehicles with leaf spring suspension, an air bellows is mounted between the frame and the rear axle. This air bellows supports the existing leaf spring. The VB-SemiAir comfort system is therefore the right choice for vehicles that are regularly heavily and varyingly loaded.
The VB-SemiAir comfort system includes the VB-SemiAir basic system plus a control unit with two pressure gauges, two high/low switches and a solid high-performance compressor. The high/low switches make it easy to adjust the ride level. The pressure gauges accurately show the pressure (in bar) in the air bellows, making them easy to inflate.
