The high-performance intercooler has the following mesh dimensions (650mm x 368mm x 95mm [stepped] = 20.8L) and thus offers a 48% larger inflow area and 108% more charge air volume compared to the original intercooler. The newly developed competition high-performance mesh provides the adjacent components, such as the water cooler, with sufficient air flow. It is a high-quality tube fin mesh with internal turbulators. The end boxes of the intercooler are made of cast aluminum and were optimized using flow analyses in the CFD system. With the help of integrated air baffles in the inlet, the intercooler is filled evenly. The result is excellent cooling properties with minimal back pressure. This makes this kit ideal for racing. In addition, all of our intercoolers have an anti-corrosion coating with heat-conducting properties. This guarantees long-lasting and optimal cooling with a significant increase in performance. The intercooler and the cross member form a stable unit and, thanks to the new competition high-performance network, weigh only 12 kg. Installation takes place at the original attachment points and is easy to carry out (1:1 exchange). Tested up to 6 bar and pressure-stable. All of our products are subject to constant quality monitoring. Optimized for the best possible internal throughput with Ø66mm inlets and outlets.
