COMPETITION INTERCOOLER KIT for Ford Ranger:
Ford Ranger PX2 3.2TDCi and 2.2 TDCi
The WAGNERTUNING high-performance intercooler has a new competition net (tube fin) with dimensions of 660 mm x 282 [254] mm x 120 [65] mm [stepped]. This corresponds to an external network volume of 21.3 liters. The WagnerTuning Competition intercooler for the Ford Ranger therefore offers a 32% larger frontal flow area and 279% more external network volume compared to the original intercooler.
The cast aluminum end boxes were designed in CAD and optimized using CFD simulations (for an ideal internal airflow). With the help of an air duct incorporated into the interior of the radiator inlet, the intercooler network is filled evenly. The result is excellent cooling properties with the lowest back pressure. In addition, the newly developed competition high-performance network ensures that the adjacent components, such as the water cooler, have enough airflow and is also very light. Optimum cooling of the charged air with a significant increase in performance!
An anti-corrosion coating with excellent heat-conducting properties protects the WAGNERTUNING intercoolers from any environmental influences, as a result of which a lasting and optimal cooling effect can be guaranteed. Installation is carried out at the original mounting points and is easy to carry out (plug and play). All of our products are subject to constant quality monitoring.
