The X-Gauge™ device also offers the ability to expand the ScanGauge II by adding additional vehicle-specific digital gauges.

An extremely compact design that can be installed in just minutes
ScanGauge II installs in just minutes without tools and requires no batteries or external power. All data and power are derived from a single OBDII connector.
The detachable 2 meter cable allows the ScanGauge II to be mounted anywhere on the dashboard or console while remaining connected to your vehicle. Below are just a few examples.
Turn off this warning light!
ScanGauge II can search for Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) and when it finds them, it can map out exactly which and how many error codes there are. If you use the Internet or other repair manuals, these can be translated to the faulty component and necessary repairs can be made.
Remove problematic codes
All data stored when the code was set can now be retrieved so that the problems can be corrected (high or low temperature, high or low speed, etc.). ScanGauge II can be used to clear trouble codes and data, and reset the warning light.
Read & remove problematic codes
If no codes are found and the Check Engine light is still on, your vehicle may have pending codes stored. ScanGauge gives you a way to clear localized or unlocated trouble codes.
Integrated digital measurement blocks
ScanGauge II can display up to 4 digital measurement blocks. The blocks are updated in real time while driving.
ScanGauge II offers an extensive range of built-in digital counters and can display up to 4 at once. You can quickly get any information from the reading blocks by pressing the button next to the screen. You can change the measurement units from standard to metric, as well as configure the update rate to one of three preset speeds (slow, normal, fast).
ScanGauge II can also be extended with XGauge to add additional vehicle specific information such as temperature, transmission gear, air-fuel ratio and much more.
Automatic trip computer
Five integrated trip computers monitor everything - from fuel costs to distance traveled.
The CURRENT trip will restart if the engine is turned off for more than 3 minutes. The TODAY trip will restart after the vehicle has been stationary for 9 hours. The data from TODAY will become PREVIOUS DAY. This way there is no need to reset the trip computer. There is also a display called TANK which refers to when you fill the tank.
It can give you useful info like "almost empty" etc. The information is available at any time while driving. The trip CURRENT can be reset. This is useful for measuring fuel consumption at a constant speed.
Performance Monitor
ScanGauge II features the all new Performance Monitor™ for real-time performance measurements. Performance Monitor gives you the ability to monitor your vehicle's performance for short periods of time, short distances and acceleration. You can also set up a special digital display for monitoring, as well as storing and recalling data from up to 8 performance runs for future review and comparison.
You can use the Performance Monitor from different views on your vehicle’s performance such as:
