The Safari Snorkel SS123HF for the Toyota Hilux 126 Series is designed to direct a large amount of the coolest and cleanest air into the standard air filter unit of the 2.8 liter diesel engine from 07/2015. Since the Toyota Hilux 126 Series 07/2015 2.8L diesel engine requires enormous airflow, Safari decided to develop a snorkel system that raises the air intake to prevent harmful elements from entering the vehicle's air filter.
Massive airflow is just one aspect of the ultimate snorkel design. The Safari Snorkel Air Intake performs two very important tasks. The most obvious is to direct cool, clean air into the snorkel body - but just as important, the Safari air piston acts as a highly efficient water separator to remove rainwater from the incoming airflow - allowing safe engine operation in even the most violent tropical storms guarantee.
