Description
The Safari Snorkel SS987HFD for the 2022 Ford Ranger is designed to deliver a large amount of the coolest, cleanest air into the stock air filter unit of the 2.0L Bi-Turbo Engine (YN2S Engine) and 3.0L V6 diesel engine.
Given the massive airflow of the 2022 Ford Ranger engines, Safari decided to develop a snorkel system that raises the air intake to prevent harmful elements from entering the vehicle's air filter.
The enormous airflow is just one aspect of the ultimate snorkel design. The Safari Snorkel Air Intake performs two very important tasks. The most obvious is to direct cool, clean air into the snorkel body - but just as important, the Safari air piston acts as a highly efficient water separator to remove rainwater from the incoming airflow - allowing safe engine operation in even the most violent tropical storms guarantee.
