Original Safari 4x4 Engineering SS741HF Snorkel with 4 inch air inlet!
Each Snorkel was specifically designed for a vehicle model!

Technical data:

  • UV-stable housing made of polyethylene for extreme stability
  • high air flow for best engine performance
  • Special design prevents water and dust from entering
  • Stainless steel fasteners

The Safari ARMAX™ snorkels are characterized by:

  • Safari proprietary industrial grade UV stabilized polyethylene
  • Safari's rounded Air Ram; but with a minimum 4" (101.6mm) neck and an optimized airflow, with a low restriction grille
  • A lifetime guarantee
  • Design and flow testing by our in-house engineers for maximum performance
  • Development and testing in conjunction with other upcoming ARMAX™ performance enhancing products.

Given the popularity of performance upgrades through engine management and larger exhaust systems, Safari 4x4 Engineering decided to develop a snorkel system that not only raises the air intake to prevent harmful elements from entering the vehicle's air filter, but is also able to to direct the required volume of air into the engine and thus maximize the potential for increased performance.

Massive airflow is just one aspect of the ultimate snorkel design for the Ford Ranger. The Safari ARMAX Snorkel AIR RAM is designed to accomplish two very important tasks. The most obvious is to direct cool, clean air into the snorkel body - but just as importantly, the Safari ARMAX air piston acts as a highly efficient water separator to remove rainwater from the incoming airflow - allowing safe engine operation in even the most intense tropical storms guarantee.
