DECKED DRAWER SYSTEMS
The DECKED medium drawer system features a highly versatile single drawer with a load capacity of 180 kg. It combines weatherproof, lockable (locks must be ordered separately) and extremely secure storage options. With a deck equipped with D-rings and a payload of 454 kg, it offers an unprecedented range of applications.
Complete redesign
In an effort to maximize storage capacity and avoid wasted space in the bed, DECKED developed a drawer to replace the drawers previously offered. This also allowed engineers to develop the single drawer with a payload of 180kg. The drawer safely extends the entire length of the bed. With 30% more storage space in the drawer than previous versions, customers of the midsize pickups now have more than enough space for their tools, camping gear or emergency essentials.
Maximized efficiency
Similar to the full-size system, the bins in the corners have been removed and replaced with two pass-through openings. These are located on the side of the tailgate and extend to the wheel arch. The medium-sized systems have two storage compartments, one on each side, which are also covered by a water-repellent and lockable lid. Four stash bins are included that can be inserted into these openings as desired. On the cab side, the system has two access openings that can be opened up to use the space not covered by the drawer.
Additional load anchorages
The Mid-Size drawer system features six heavy-duty 180kg steel-to-steel tie-down points on the deck, three on each side. Just like the Full-Size system, the load securing is integrated into the outer edge of the deck, using a D-ring tie-down system. When not in use, these D-rings lie flat and are recessed into the surface.
Improved weather resistance
Protection from the elements has been improved by adding additional covers to the cabin and drawer sides. This significantly reduces the amount of air that flows through the loading area and potentially allows dust to enter the drawer.
Danger:
The manufacturer does not take any accessories on or in the loading area into account during development. This also does not include original accessories such as lashing rails, style bars or loading area protection. These must be removed before the drawers are installed and can no longer be used.
