With the release of the next generation of Ford, most equipment lines have high beam mounting points either in the footwell or in the roof control unit. The following graphic explains the 3 headlight levels available, which determine whether you can use the factory connection or require an additional high beam adapter.
Level 1: Corresponds to the basic models with halogen headlights.
Level 2: Standard LED headlights fitted to most Ranger and Everest range trims.
Level 3: An optional extra not available on all trim levels that converts the standard LED headlight to Ford's Matrix projector housing.
Both Level 1 and Level 3 require an additional adapter that accepts the high beam signal to trigger the additional high beam, which will be available soon via the link below. Stage 2 headlights and Ranger Raptor models have the factory mounting points mentioned above.
